Anna Emma
Anna Emma, born in Belaros,
grew up mostly in Europe and Connecticut. Three words suffice
to describe her art education : Mostly Self Taught.
Always drawing and painting, Anna could no longer ignore her
growing facsination and passion for the French Masters Monet,
Matisse, Renoir and Van Gogh. She went to France in 1988 to see
more of their paintings. Upon returning to Santa Barbara, she
she closed her fashion design studio (Anna Vilms Design which
included designs for Sacks Fifth Avenue, Giorgo's, Bindels, Robert
Attman's Film "A perfect couple") changed her name
to Anna Emma. Anna bought a roll of primed canvas and started
teaching herself to paint in oils from one end of the roll to
the other...
Today, Anna Emma breathes flowers and loves painting. They are
her passion, career and inspiration - A way of Life. Flowers
represent the epitome of the Best of The Best of Anna. What touches
our hearts as personally as the beauty, fragrance and presence
of flowers? Flowers are the most intimate and universal way of
expressing love, gratitude and happiness as well as subtle and
unusual remembrances.
