                | Ellie
                  attended UCLA, earning a B.A.in Fine Arts with Honors. She did graduate work at UCLA under the direction of William
                  Brice, Jan Stussey, Sam Amoto and Rico Lebrun.
 After a career in graphic Design and raising a family, she returned
                  to her first love, painting.
 Freudenstein paints 'en plein air'; her chosen media is oil.
 She enjoys painting landscapes, mostly of California's
 central coast, France and Italy. Her paintings are richly colored
                  with a great sense of movement energy, and emotion.
 Today, she works in her studio and in the field doing studies
                  in Italy, France,and in the central coast near Santa Barbara,
                  Ca. .
 Ellie is often asked to teach workshops for various art societies
                  or private groups.
 She is a full artist member of the California Art Club; Oil Painters
                  of America, Signiture Member of American Impressionist Society;
                  Signature Member of the Women Artists of the West, and recently
